What's the point of an editable QR code, in practice?

What's the difference between a 'static' and a 'dynamic' QR?

A static QR contains your URL directly: impossible to edit after printing, no analytics. A dynamic QR routes through our servers: you can change the destination anytime, and you see every scan in real time.

Do my QR codes work everywhere in the world?

Yes. All modern smartphones (iOS since 2017, Android since 2019) scan QR codes natively. No app required for your customers.

Can I put my logo in the QR?

Accepted Answer

Yes, from the Pro plan onwards. PNG or transparent SVG format recommended. Error correction is automatically maximized to keep it scannable.

What formats can I download?

PNG on the Free plan. PNG + vector SVG + print-ready PDF on paid plans. SVG is essential for large-format printing (shop window, banner).

Can I customize the colors?

Yes, on all plans. Module color, background color, corner style (square, rounded, dots). On Pro/Business you can also add a center logo.

A structured online restaurant menu: categories, dishes, prices, allergens. Your guests read it by scanning a QR on the table, with no app to install. It lives at an address like iziqrcode.com/p/your-restaurant, and the QR points there once and for all.

How many menus can I publish?

Accepted Answer

One published menu on the Pro plan, five on Business. Beyond that, each extra menu costs €5 excl. VAT per month, or €50 excl. VAT per year. Drafts do not count: prepare as many as you like — only publishing uses a slot.

Do I have to retype everything?

Accepted Answer

No. Photograph your paper menu, or drop in the PDF, multi-page included: the analysis pulls out categories, dishes and prices, and you fix whatever was misread. A photographed chalkboard works as well as a clean document.

Is my menu translated automatically?

Accepted Answer

Yes, into the service's five languages — French, English, Spanish, Italian and Catalan. Visitors see theirs if they have it, yours otherwise. Every translation stays editable: a dish name that should not be translated, you put back as it should read.

Are allergens handled?

The fourteen allergens of EU regulation are offered dish by dish and shown on the published menu. This is safety information: you declare it, we do not guess it — the import never fills that field for you.

If I change a price, do I reprint the QR?

Never. The QR points at your menu, not at its contents. Change a price, remove a sold-out dish, switch to the seasonal menu — the QR stuck on the table keeps working and shows today's version.

What scan data can I see?

Total scans, scans per day, country breakdown, device type (mobile/desktop/tablet), time of day. Plus UTM parameters if you set them up (source, medium, campaign).

Is GDPR respected?

Yes. No personal data about scanners is stored (no cookies, no identifiers). We're hosted in Europe. Analytics are anonymized.

Can I connect Google Analytics or Meta Pixel?

Yes. Our dynamic QRs automatically inject UTM parameters into the destination URL. Compatible with GA4, Matomo, Meta Pixel, etc.

Why are prices excluding VAT?

Our prices are excl. VAT because most customers are businesses (which reclaim VAT). At checkout, your country's VAT is added automatically (17–27% in the EU). Companies with a valid intra-EU VAT number benefit from reverse charge (0% VAT).

Is the 14-day trial really without a credit card?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You create an account with an email, test Pro for 14 days, then decide. If you don't upgrade, you automatically return to Free.

How does Pro/Business billing work?

Monthly or annual (-17% on annual, i.e. 2 months free). Auto-renewal via Stripe. VAT-compliant invoice emailed each cycle, matching your country's rules.

Yes, no commitment. Cancel in one click from your account. Service remains active until the end of the current period. Already-downloaded PNG QRs keep working.
